As a traveling professor I spend a night away from home every 1-2 weeks. The Narrow Way is by far my favorite place to stay. After teaching on Friday evenings, Karan always welcomes me with a friendly smile and plenty of her excellent food. Without a doubt, I always feel comfortable and welcomed during my stay. In fact, Roger and Karan will make you feel like you are part of the family (although with all the pampering it feels more like the royal family). And, as my students have said - the homemade cinnamon rolls are superb! Thank you to Karan and Roger for your kindness and generosity. I can't wait to teach in Scottsville again and stay at The Narrow Way!

Each morning I was awakened by the aroma of brewed coffee and sizzling bacon. Our room was in Grandma's Attic and provided us with comfort, spacious accomodations, and a flair of antique furnishings. Roger and Karan went out their way to serve us with friendly smiles and southern hospitality. This bed and breakfast in my estimation should be a 5***** rating. Thank you Roger and Karan for providing great memories of Ky.

I have stayed at the Narrow Way several times. My visits are related to business as I am a professor and teach at the Lindsey Wilson College satelite in Scottsville, KY. Karen, Roger & the whole family are the nicest people - so nice I wonder if they are real people at all or Angels on earth. They are the hardest working people I have ever seen and their spirits are totally motivating. I am very particular about things such as privacy and cleanliness - this home has it. The place is fantastic! I am always comfortable, well feed, welcomed and loved. Thank you Lord for the Narrow Way!

50th Anniversary Celebration - Ralph and Charlotte Bell, February 26, 2011. There can be a lot of apprehension when planning your parents 50th anniversary celebration long distance via emails and a few phone calls, but the day, the food, the facility and Roger and Karan were absolute perfection. We had a private dinner for just the immediate family in the dining room at noon before the public reception began at 2 and every detail was taken care of. All we had to do was enjoy the event. It was a day we will always fondly remember thanks to Roger and Karan.

Wow. The scrapbook weekend we reserved was one of the best times of my life! To get away with a bunch of ladies, totally relax, let someone cook home-cooked meals for us while we worked, laughed, and just ENJOYED. The pictures don't do any of the rooms justice here or in the brochure...it feels so "POTTERY BARN" in every room. Every person said their bed was super-comfie...even ladies with knee issues just slept downstairs and drove around and up to meals. I could cry I felt so pampered. Karan and Roger were super-sweet with their constant, "Oh! Let me get that for you!" WE LOVED IT!!!

If you want true southern hospitality and delicious food this is your place! Karen and Roger went out of their way for a group of friends that scheduled a scrapbook weekend. The accommodations were sooooo comfortable. The meals were just like my Mammaw would make. The cinnamon rolls...they were better than cinn-a-bon - and I love cinn-a-bon. The hospitality was warming. I didn’t feel like I was in someone’s home – I felt as if I was at home. Thanks Karen and Roger for your hospitality, your kindness and your graciousness. May God bless you, your home and all who are fortunate enough to stay there.

My wife and I attended the Temple Hill 40th Class Reunion 10/11/08. We spent the night in "Granny's Attic". The room was excellent and the food was delicious. Karan and Roger were excellent hosts, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The view of the surrounding farm land was very relaxing. We look forward to getting to spend another evening at The Narrow Way.

My husband surprised me with a getaway to the Narrow Way. We stayed in the bridal suite, which has the best bath tub on the face of the planet! We very much enjoyed the company of Karan and Roger. The food was delicious! It is a beautiful place to be with beautiful people to be with. Thank you so much for your hospitality, we wish you many blessings! Love, The Hartfords

our girls sleep over at the narrow way was so wonderful and relaxing. we had the whole bottom floor to ourselves. the view is breathtaking from the back deck the to from porch. They made us feel at home and Karen cooked a breakfast out of this world especially the rolls. I would recommend anyone to stay there...

Our "Girl's Night Out" group had a great place to stay in your well furnished and comfortable basement living quarters. The bed was really comfortable and I enjoyed the wonderful breakfast with the cinnamon rolls. They have to be the best on the planet!! Looking forward to a return visit.

Hi Roger and Karan, You guys have done a wonderful job with the bed and breakfast. I thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay and your other guest assured us that we (Christine, Effie, Wanda and myself) didn't keep them up playing uno. May your comings and goings be blessed and fruitful. GOD Bless!! :)

Karan and Roger have worked very hard to bring this place to fruition. The hard work shows. Come and experience their hospitality and enjoy the charm this rural part of Kentucky has to offer.
