Karan and Roger have worked very hard to bring this place to fruition. The hard work shows. Come and experience their hospitality and enjoy the charm this rural part of Kentucky has to offer.

Hi Roger and Karan, You guys have done a wonderful job with the bed and breakfast. I thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay and your other guest assured us that we (Christine, Effie, Wanda and myself) didn't keep them up playing uno. May your comings and goings be blessed and fruitful. GOD Bless!! :)

This bed and breakfast beats all the others. From its beautiful archways and rooms, to its southern charm and wonderful hospitality, the Johnson family has the best there is to offer in the Southern KY area! God bless you guys and your B&B.

Our "Girl's Night Out" group had a great place to stay in your well furnished and comfortable basement living quarters. The bed was really comfortable and I enjoyed the wonderful breakfast with the cinnamon rolls. They have to be the best on the planet!! Looking forward to a return visit.

Just spent a wonderful weekend scrapbooking at the Narrow Way B&B. None of us wanted to leave because of the wonderful hospitality we received from Roger and Karan. They are wonderful hosts who treat their guests like family and make everyone feel welcome. The B&B is a beautiful place for a get-a-way and the food is scrumptious. Thanks, Roger and Karan for making our stay so enjoyable.

Roger and Karen, thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us. After several hotels we had stayed at on our trip, this was such a refreshing change. It was very much like being home... except with excellent cinnamon rolls! The house is beautiful and your company defined Southern Hospitality. When we are in your area again, we will defiantly be back! Thank you very much.

The food and hospitalily was amazing and if you ever sit in that ez-hang chair on the back porch you will never want to leave that spot! Thanks for a great weekend and I can't wait to come back again. And, be sure that I will send people you way. Tiffany

Even many of our guests commented that it was the nicest and best reception they had ever been to. The setting is also beautiful. This place is amazing! Roger & Karan treat you like family the moment you met them. Although living in Glasgow, I was unaware this place existed until August. It was recommended by a friend, as I was searching for a location for a group of friends to have a reunion. The food was wonderful; the atmosphere amazing; and that back porch with the ez-hang chairs....oh my goodness, I didn't want to leave! I'm looking forward to another stay next year. I HIGHLY recommend this wonderful place to everyone!! Roger & Karan go above and beyond to make sure your stay is the best it can be.

My husband and I had a rare and refreshing night away from parenting. Being private people, B&B's bring fear of uncomfortable attention. Not so here! We simply felt welcome and had all the privacy we desired. Thank you! We can't want to come back for our next anniversary.

I don't think that anyone can really explain how incredibly wonderful it is staying at the Narrows, much less what gracious hosts Roger and Karen are. We can't thank them enough for one of the best B&B's we've ever stayed in. We'll be back!

We held our outdoor wedding ceremony at the Narrow Way on June 19, 2010. Karen and Roger are awesome people! They opened their entire home to us and went out of their way to make everyone involved feel at home. We could not have asked for a better place to hold our wedding. Absolutely breathtaking both inside and out! All of our friends and family are planning to come back and stay with Roger and Karen. We absolutely feel honored to know them as friends now! If you are planning on staying in the Barren River Lake area or are planning an event do not look anywhere else or you will be missing a truly magnificant place and two extraordinary folks!

If you want true southern hospitality and delicious food this is your place! Karen and Roger went out of their way for a group of friends that scheduled a scrapbook weekend. The accommodations were sooooo comfortable. The meals were just like my Mammaw would make. The cinnamon rolls...they were better than cinn-a-bon - and I love cinn-a-bon. The hospitality was warming. I didn’t feel like I was in someone’s home – I felt as if I was at home. Thanks Karen and Roger for your hospitality, your kindness and your graciousness. May God bless you, your home and all who are fortunate enough to stay there.

Words cannot express the thanks and appreciation we have for Roger and Karan and their hospitality given during the recent wedding of our daughter at the bed and breakfast. Roger and Karan went above and beyond the call of duty in every way possible to make sure that our daughters wedding was as perfect as it possibly could be. They were very pleasant and accomodating to the HUGE crowd that we had attending the wedding. The weather was perfect, the bed and breakfast was beautiful and we couldn't have asked for anymore. My girls and I did not want to leave. Defintely recommended if you want a cozy atmosphere, no noisy motel/hotel rooms, and lovely food. Thank you so very much Roger & Karen. Two girlfriends and I spent the weekend with Roger and Karen to scrapbook with 8 other girls who were strangers at the beginning of the weekend and friends at the end. Karen and Roger are wonderful hosts. They catered to our every whim. They were eager to accomodate us with additional tables and lamps for our scrapbooking. I slept in the summer room on the main floor and my two girlfriends slept in the Sunrise Room and the Nautical Room. The beds were very comfortable. Karen is a wonderful cook and her meals and desserts were out of this world. She pampered us all weekend and I look forward to going back. Thanks Roger and Karen.
